3. Ulmer Kalorimetrietage 17./18.09.1979

The Ulm Calorimetry Conference, which is held every other year, took place for the third time in September 1979. About 70 scientists from Germany, Austria and Switzerland met at the University of Ulm to discuss questions of calorimetry and quantitative DTA, and their applications in physics, chemistry, biology and medicine.
Fourteen plenary lectures on fundamental problems were given, most of these now being presented here. Special applications and newly developed apparatus were discussed in poster sessions.
The Conference was organised by the Sektion für Kalorimetrie of the University of Ulm in cooperation with the University of Braunschweig. The 4th Calorimetry Conference (1981) will be arranged by the same team and will again be held in Ulm.
