Dear Colleagues,

We cordially invite you to join the 24th Kalorimetrietage  in Braunschweig on 26 - 28 May 2021. The conference is dedicated to all aspects of calorimetry and its applications in chemistry, physics, biology, medicine, industry, and environmental sciences.

This year's conference will focus on

• Calorimetry for process safety assessment in the chemical industry (in cooperation with ProcessNet, the German platform for process engineering, chemical engineering and technical chemistry)
• High temperature calorimetry (up to 3000 °C)
• Biomedical calorimetry (for the support of individualized medicine)

Presentations from other fields of experimental thermodynamics are also welcome. 

Because of the current pandemic situation and its unknown development, we are not planning a classic conference and exhibition of instruments as in recent years. The conference will instead take place as an internet-based event with only a very limited number of participants on-site. Participating via the internet will be free of charge. As in the preceding conferences, we will compile a book of abstracts in which you can publish your one-to-five-page abstract.

The conference language is English. Presentations in German are acceptable.

The next Kalorimetrietage will take place from 31 May to 2 June 2023.
